Our fifth grade classrooms have “adopted” these two dairy calves through Discover Dairy’s free, yearlong Adopt a Cow program.

Through photos, videos, and classroom activities, students will follow their calves as they grow and learn about life on a dairy farm, how farmers care for their animals, and where our food comes from. The program brings math, reading, and science into the adventure and even offers opportunities for virtual farm tours and live chats with dairy farmers!

Moo-Tilda and Moo-Lissa will stay on the farm, but they’re already part of our fifth grade crew. We’re looking forward to a year of learning with our new udderly adorable friends!
