Superintendent’s Message
Welcome to the Entiat School District — where every student is known, valued, and supported.
It is my honor to serve as Superintendent of the Entiat School District — a place that is not only my professional home, but also one I consider to be my lifelong personal one. I was born and raised here in Entiat, attended Entiat schools from kindergarten through graduation, and even though I spent 30 years as a teacher in the Ritzville (WA) school district, I am proud to call myself a Tiger for life.
Education and community run deep in my family. My grandfather, my mother, and all three of my siblings also graduated from Entiat. My mom went on to teach here for many years, shaping the lives of countless students, just as she did mine. These roots have shaped who I am, and they fuel my commitment to ensuring every student in our district receives the same support, encouragement, and sense of belonging that I was fortunate to experience.
Entiat is more than just a school district — it’s a close-knit community where relationships matter and where every student is seen and supported. One of the greatest strengths of our district is that personal connection. In a small school setting, we have the privilege of truly knowing our students and walking alongside them throughout their educational journey.
Our educators and staff are dedicated, passionate, and deeply invested in helping students thrive — not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment where every student has the opportunity to grow, explore, and succeed.
As we look ahead, I’m excited about what we can achieve together. Our focus remains on excellence, innovation, and preparing students not only for graduation, but for life beyond Entiat with strong minds, kind hearts, and a sense of purpose.
Thank you for being an essential part of the Entiat School District family. Whether you’re a current student, parent, staff member, alumnus, or community supporter, your presence and involvement matter. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, get involved, and stay connected.
Together, we make Entiat strong.
