Entiat School District is excited to welcome Annette Edlund as a new paraeducator supporting our students and staff.
Annette brings a unique and diverse background to education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Paramedicine from Central Washington University in 2022 and previously worked in the medical field as an EMT-P with Ballard Ambulance. After stepping away from healthcare due to health challenges, Annette chose to pursue her passion for education, inspired by her own experiences as a learner and her belief in the transformative power of schooling.
Her career and volunteer work reflect strong interpersonal and communication skills. She has worked as a caregiver and paraeducator in Chelan and Lake Chelan School Districts, and most recently with the Entiat School District since January 2025. In addition, she has experience coaching youth sports and participating in team activities, which has strengthened her ability to connect with students and support their growth.
“Education is what guides us through our formative years,” Annette shared. “It can take you places you never thought you’d go and open up the world around you.”
