Entiat School District is pleased to announce the hiring of Jeff Girmus as our new co-Athletic Director. Jeff brings a strong background in athletic program development, coaching, and student engagement, along with a deep commitment to community and family involvement.
Jeff joins Entiat with extensive experience in both education and athletics. Most recently, he served as a CTE Business and Marketing Teacher at Lindbergh High School in Renton, Washington, where he also coached junior varsity and varsity basketball as well as football.
Previously, Jeff worked as the Athletic Director at Kent Youth & Family Services, where he developed athletic programs, hired and mentored coaches, coordinated tournaments, managed transportation and scheduling, and built partnerships with schools and organizations across the region. He also brings professional experience with the Seattle Seahawks, where he helped oversee large-scale fan engagement events and staff leadership initiatives.
Jeff holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management with a specialization in Business from Washington State University, and his professional skills include program development, budgeting and fundraising, student-athlete development, and strong community engagement.

His experience in coaching, program development, and community building will be a tremendous asset to our student-athletes and school community.”
