Entiat, WA – May 2, 2025 – The Entiat School District is proud to announce the hiring of Cassie Alaniz as the district’s new K-5 Intervention Specialist. Cassie brings a wealth of energy, compassion, and dedication to supporting students at all levels of learning.
Cassie is a graduate of Central Washington University with a degree in Elementary Education and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Early Childhood Education at Eastern Washington University. Her academic and professional background highlights a strong commitment to educational excellence and student success.
Cassie began her teaching journey early, volunteering in her church’s Kindergarten classroom at the age of 14. It was here where she began developing her skills in classroom management, lesson planning, and student engagement.
She has worked with a wide range of learners, including English language learners and students with special needs. Her recent roles include serving as a 2nd/3rd Grade Inclusion Specialist at Lincoln Elementary and a 1st Grade Teacher at Columbia Elementary in Wenatchee. Cassie has experience writing and implementing IEPs, collaborating with paraprofessionals and administration, and building strong relationships with students and families.
Cassie is passionate about building a sense of community within the classroom and the larger school. She believes in meeting students where they are and using data-driven instruction to help every child thrive.
“I am a passionate young educator who is ready to do whatever a student may need to help them succeed,” Cassie said. “All of my experiences have shaped me into the educator I am today, and I look forward to growing alongside the Entiat community.”
We are thrilled to welcome Cassie to Entiat School District and look forward to the incredible impact she will have on our students, staff, and families.
