• Each school year, Entiat School District forms committees to review curriculum and make recommendations for curriculum materials for grades PK - 12.  Entiat's goal is to provide the most up-to-date, research-based, and appropriate materials for children. Collaborative teams are formed of individuals with teaching and subject-matter expertise, as well as, a diverse group of administrators, parents, and community members, to help meet this goal.

  • For the 23-24 school year, two curriculum programs have been reviewed and recommended for piloting:

    K-5

Core Knowledge (CKLA) - September to January

Into Reading (Houghton Mifflin) - January to May

    6 - 12

My Perspectives (Saavas Learning) - September to January

Into Literature (Houghton Mifflin) - January to May

Parents will have an opportunity to review the curriculum the committee recommends at the Community BBQ on May 15th from 4:30 - 6:30 pm.  Final recommendations will be presented to the board for adoption at the May 22nd, 2024 School Board Meeting.
